This Privacy Policy explains how Sitter Flow ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Care Data: Client and household details, pet profiles, visit logs, notes, schedules, and other care information you enter.
- Photos and Media: Images you choose to upload from your photo library or capture with your camera (for example, pet profile photos and visit report images). We only access the camera or photo library after you grant permission, and only for features that need those photos.
- Purchase and Subscription Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive subscription status and related purchase identifiers through our billing partner (RevenueCat) so we can unlock Premium features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Device and Usage Information: Basic technical data such as device type, operating system, and how you interact with the app (including crash and reliability signals needed to operate the Service).
Location: The current version of Sitter Flow does not collect your device location. A future update may offer optional GPS walk tracking. If we add that feature, we will request location permission at that time, use location only while the app is open to record a walk route for a visit report, and update this policy before collecting location data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Sitter Flow service
- Store and display your care data within your account
- Generate shareable visit reports and updates for pet owners you choose to share with
- Process subscriptions and manage Premium access
- Respond to support requests
- Improve reliability, security, and product quality
- Communicate with you about the Service when needed
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in the following circumstances:
- When you choose to share a report with a pet owner
- With service providers who help us operate the app (for example hosting, authentication, and subscription management), under obligations to protect your data
- With Apple or Google as needed to process in-app purchases and subscriptions
- When required by law or to protect our rights
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information and care data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain limited records by law (for example, for accounting or fraud prevention).
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain types of data processing
